Job summary

The Claremont Manor Retirement Community is seeking a Care Services Manager to coordinate, supervise, and direct the Assisted Living staff under the Executive Director and Director of Health Services, ensuring resident needs are met in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to interpret policies, with licensure requirements in California.

Qualifications

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director/ Director of Health Services, the Care Services Manager is responsible for the coordination, supervision and directing of the work of the Assisted Living staff and ensures the resident needs are met according to Federal and State regulations as well as Company Policy.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals

• Licensed Vocational Nurse - California
• CPR certificate

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

• 5 Years 5 years experience working in a senior community
