Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support both administrative and clinical tasks under physician supervision in our Dolton, IL centers. This role focuses on keeping centers running smoothly while delivering compassionate patient care.

The Ideal candidate has a high school diploma (GED) and 1+ year in medical assistance, EMT, or paramedic roles, with BLS certification. Expect varied shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as MA/EMT/Paramedic required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists physician.
• Collects phlebotomy and other lab specimens; performs basic waived tests.
• P repares and administers medications under direct physician supervision.
• Handles patient phone messages and relays information to clinicians.
• Provides health coaching to a defined group of patients; follows up weekly.
