Job summary

ChenMed LLC in Dolton is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support a physician‑led care team delivering comprehensive primary care to seniors. This role blends administrative duties with select clinical tasks under physician supervision.

You will measure vitals, prepare patients, coordinate with clinicians, support medication handling, and provide health coaching, while maintaining compliance and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant / EMT / Paramedic program required.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Assist with exams and explain procedures to patients.
• Perform routine screening tests under physician supervision.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic waived tests.
• Prepare and administer medications under supervision.
• Maintain supplies and ensure timely patient flow.
• Provide health coaching to a defined patient group.
• Follow up with coached patients via calls.
