Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support a physician-driven care team. This unlicensed medical professional performs routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep centers running smoothly, under direct physician supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs.
• Document patient interview and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinical team.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervisors.
• Perform routine non-critical medical procedures under supervision.
• Collect lab samples and perform basic waived tests.
• Administer medications and manage dressings under supervision.
• Maintain supplies and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Process patient calls and relay information to physicians.
• Assist with prescription calls to pharmacies after approval.
• Provide health coaching to defined patient groups.
