Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) is seeking a Care Pathway & Patient Engagement Analyst to advance affordability initiatives through analytics, consumer insights, and care pathway optimization. You will collaborate across Utilization Management, Care Management, Network, Pharmacy, Actuarial, Finance, Technology, and Clinical teams to design and implement impactful programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct claims and analyses focused on care pathways, engagement, utilization patterns, provider performance, affordability opportunities, and healthcare consumer behavior.
• Develop analytic frameworks to identify where members benefit from interventions and to improve care quality and engagement.
• Develop predictive models, segmentation approaches, and targeting methodologies for outreach and affordability initiatives.
• Execute analyses using rigorous measurement approaches (A/B tests, quasi-experimental methods, impact evaluation).
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders and stakeholders.
