Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Care Pathway & Patient Engagement Analyst to advance affordability and care pathway optimization through advanced analytics, consumer insights, and engagement strategies.

You will partner across Utilization Management, Care Management, Network, Pharmacy, Actuarial, Finance, Technology, and Clinical teams to design, implement analytics solutions, predictive models, and dashboards that drive savings and better outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field; 7+ years if no degree.
• Experience in healthcare analytics or related quantitative discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses on care pathways, patient engagement, utilization and costs.
• Develop analytic frameworks to identify intervention opportunities.
• Build predictive models and segmentation for outreach and affordability.
• Evaluate engagement strategies using A/B testing and impact evaluation.
• Analyze longitudinal journeys to identify utilization patterns and gaps.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, technology, and clinical teams.
