Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurse in providing patient care within unit needs and scope of practice.
• Take vital signs and document data in the electronic medical record.
• Perform blood glucose monitoring and basic nursing procedures as directed.
• Identify patient needs and communicate changes to the nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and stock supplies as needed.
• Respond to alarms, calls, and urgent needs promptly.
• Support teamwork and effective intradepartmental communication.
• Attend required orientations and trainings as scheduled.
