• Take vital signs and document data in the electronic medical record.
• Demonstrate competency in orthostatic blood pressures and glucose monitoring.
• Collect, transport, and enter lab data per policy; obtain blood products from Blood Bank as needed.
• Notify nurse of changes in patient condition and respond to alarms and calls.
• Maintain stock of supplies and ensure a safe patient environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdepartmental staff.
