Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's Care Partners assist nurses in delivering patient care. Tasks align with unit needs and are performed within the scope of training and experience of the Care Partner.

Responsibilities include accurate vital signs, glucose monitoring as directed, specimen handling, and ensuring supplies are stocked for patient rooms and med areas, while maintaining a calm, safe environment for patients and families.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nursing Assistant certification program/certification is preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, intake/output, and activities of daily living; document in EMR.
• Notify nurse of pertinent changes in patient condition.
• Maintain/stock supplies and equipment at bedside and in units.
• Follow safety, infection control, and patient identification policies.
• Communicate effectively with peers, physicians, and families.
