Job summary

Arrow Senior Living in Columbia, MO is seeking a caring Care Partner to support residents in daily living activities, provide empathy, and build meaningful connections. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care while promoting dignity and safety.

This full-time position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information about Residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and oral care.
• Create human connections with Residents by showing empathy and being present.
• Support a positive, inclusive environment and be a teammate others can rely on.
