Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant - Care Partner for the Day Shift.

This role supports patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, promoting a positive patient experience and assisting with activities of daily living and comfort measures. The Care Partner will work with the healthcare team to provide safe, age-appropriate care, and may perform advanced skills per unit needs, including phlebotomy and Foley catheter care, while maintaining HIPAA and patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; other nursing certifications may be preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed directions and document care accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with patients, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Support RN and healthcare team in patient care and care planning.
• Document care in the EMR and communicate patient needs promptly.
• Provide patient and family-centered care with compassionate, respectful service.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance on unit.
