Job summary

Morrow Heights - Rogue River is seeking a Part-Time NOC Care Partner/Med Tech in Rogue River, Oregon to support residents with daily living tasks and health monitoring. You will engage in companionship, assist with meals, and help with activities to promote wellbeing.

Join a team dedicated to compassionate elder care, with opportunities to collaborate with Wellness staff and families. Licensing docs and background checks are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work within a team.
• Good verbal communication and ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for elders (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor health and document changes; report to Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and support feeding as needed.
• Engage in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Communicate with elders, families, team members, and guests.
• Keep areas clean with light housekeeping.

What You’ll do

As a Noc Care Partner/Med Tech, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
