Reflections at Garden Place - Columbia, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care and daily living assistance to residents in a warm, community setting. You will monitor health, offer companionship, and help with meals while supporting residents' independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include documenting changes, communicating with families and the wellness team, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

What You’ll do

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

Pay Range: 16.00 to 17.50 based upon experience
