Job summary

Juniper Springs Senior Living - Redmond, OR - JN is seeking Care Partners for NOC shifts in a vibrant senior living community. You will provide personal care, monitor health, offer companionship, assist with meals, and support residents in daily activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
  • Monitor health, document changes, and report to Wellness Team.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities for well‑being.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and teammates.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

  • You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
  • You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
  • You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
  • You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
  • You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
  • You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
  • You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
What You’ll Bring
  • You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
  • You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
