Job summary

Compass Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner (Certified CNA) for weekend shifts (6a-10p) to join a vibrant elder care team in Oklahoma. The role involves personal care, health monitoring, companionship, meal assistance, and activity engagement.

Ideal candidates hold CNA certification, demonstrate strong English communication, and can pass a background check. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Strong verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
• Licsensing documentation (if required by state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for elders (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor health, document changes, and report to Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities for well-being.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain cleanliness.

What You’ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life‑enriching activities for their well‑being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
