Job summary

Americana Davison is seeking a 1st shift supervisor to provide assistance to residents and lead, train and support the care team in a busy senior living community in Davison, MI. The role involves scheduling, staff coverage, and hands-on supervision on the floor.

You will partner with the Wellness Director, manage attendance, conduct interviews for hourly positions, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure smooth operations and a safe, engaging environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of direct care experience required.
• One year of supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Experience with time and attendance or scheduling systems preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing and scheduling for the care department.
• Schedule and adjust employee work plans weekly.
• Input schedules for other departments as needed.
• Manage all aspects of scheduling including call-ins and coverage.
• Track attendance for the care department and assist with disciplinary actions.
• Cover shifts as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
• Coordinate interviews for hourly positions and training for new hires.
• Work on floor each shift to monitor processes and performance.
