Job summary

Christian Care Assisted Living is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Facility Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staffing, and resident care. This full-time role supports staffing, communication across shifts, and maintains a safe, respectful environment for residents and staff.

The position is 3rd shift. You will lead staff, coach new employees, and coordinate with Nursing, HR, Scheduling, and Administration to ensure high-quality care and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in Assisted Living or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with good judgment and follow-through.
• Able to hold employees accountable while remaining supportive.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Must meet all applicable employment, background, health, and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to Assisted Living staff.
• Support staffing coverage and respond to call-ins, schedule changes, and operational needs.
• Ensure employees follow established policies, procedures, and resident care expectations.
• Address employee concerns and performance issues appropriately and escalated to leadership or HR when needed.
• Assist with coaching, training, and onboarding new employees.
• Monitor resident care needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate clinical or leadership team.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with investigations, incident follow-up, and corrective action documentation when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the facility.
• Support emergency and after-hours needs as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with Nursing, HR, Scheduling, Administration, and other departments.

This role is responsible for helping ensure appropriate staffing, supporting employees, maintaining strong communication across shifts, and promoting a safe, respectful, and well-organized environment for both residents and staff.

• Experience in Assisted Living, long-term care, healthcare, or a related setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills

• Comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining a supportive leadership approach
