Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Proficient computer, word-processing and Excel skills.
• Ability to learn EPIC and INDICIA systems.
• Good time management and priority-setting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilization Management: payer communications, appeals information, and scheduling.
• Insurance Authorizations: obtain authorizations and coordinate with payors.
• Management: coordinate referrals to external facilities and services.
• Appointment Scheduling: arrange Medicaid and follow-up appointments.
• Additional duties as assigned; adhere to organizational competencies.
