Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands‑on support and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with daily activities, follow care plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents through conversations and activities.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, clear communication with families and care teams, and contributions to a warm, respectful living environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
