Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, assisting with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their preferences and personalities.
  • Notify management of changes in residents' conditions and recommend adjustments in care.
  • Assist residents with life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on their profiles.
  • Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
  • Responsibly oversee residents during shifts, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote safety policies.
  • Respond to dining needs while maintaining hospitality standards.
  • Encourage and assist residents in life skills and activities per their ISP and profiles.
  • Commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication and passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
  • High School diploma/GED; certifications as required by state.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions in residents' best interests.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Availability for 1st or 2nd shift, full-time.
