Alignment Health is seeking a care management administrative clerk to join the case management team for a short-term temporary engagement. The Care Management Administrative Clerk is responsible for supporting daily care management business operations. Duties include responding to emails and phone calls and performing general office clerical work, which may include customer service, word processing, data entry and managing mail.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 Pm Pacific Time

General Duties/Responsibilities: (May include but are not limited to):

  • Use care management software applications to monitor tasks, mail letters, write notes, and enter data.
  • Comply with assigned task due dates as appropriate, document accordingly.
  • Process incoming mail for care management department.
  • Scan forms and upload documents to charts.
  • Send electronic faxes and use fulfillment vendor to mail letters.
  • Demonstrate ability to locate information accurately and promptly. Recognize work related problems and contributes to solutions.
  • Meet specific deadlines. Respond to variations in daily workload by assigning task priorities according to department policies and standards.
  • Communicate effectively using good customer relations skills.

Minimum Experience

  • Required: Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative assistant experience.

Education/Licensure

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one year of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
  • Follow instructions and respond to management’s direction
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to type minimum 35 words per minute (WPM)
  • Self-motivated, sets and achieves goals.
  • Responds to requests for service and assistance, meets commitments.

Pay Range: $41,600.00 - $57,600.00
