Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate and friendly service to patients. You will assist with prescription processing, medication stocking, immunizations where allowed, and engaging customers to ensure a positive pharmacy visit.

You'll follow SOPs, maintain compliance with state board requirements, and participate in training, with opportunities to travel across stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in relevant program.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and processing of prescriptions.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service and handle escalations.
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling needs.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies.
• Provide additional patient health care services such as immunizations where allowed.
