Job summary

Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will perform routine housekeeping, porter and laundry duties, clean rooms and common areas, handle daily floor care, and assist with linen processing.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read, speak and understand English, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand

• Able to read, speak, and understand English; follow directions.
• Able to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and staff.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/bend/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Clean vacant rooms and general areas as assigned.
• Daily floor care and garbage removal.
• Process the linen for the facility and residents.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
