Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitizing resident rooms and common areas, and collaborate with staff to ensure high standards of hygiene.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is able to lift up to 50 pounds, and can work around cleaning products. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
