Job summary

Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Town of Amsterdam, NY is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team. You will perform routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and clean vacant rooms and general areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Clean vacant rooms and general areas as assigned.
• Daily floor care and garbage removal.
• Process linen for the facility and residents' clothing.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, other personnel, and the public
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time

• Performing routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties
• Maintain propercleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility
• Clean vacant rooms and general areas assigned
• Daily floor care and garbage removal
• Process the linen for the facility and personal resident’s clothing
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required
