Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to join our team in a long-term care facility in the United States. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation align with HCSG standards.

Your responsibilities include following planned menus, maintaining food safety and sanitation, assisting with inventories, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
