IQVIA’s Care Educator / Certified Medical Assistant (Hybrid Role) in the Durham/Raleigh area seeks a patient-focused professional to educate and support individuals with chronic diseases. You will guide patients through education, access to resources, and adherence to prescribed therapies using calls, video, email, and SMS.

This educational-based program does not provide clinical care; it emphasizes communication, empowerment, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA, or AMCA) required.
• Minimum 3+ years of healthcare experience in physician’s office, clinic, or specialty care.
• Proven ability to educate or support patients in a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate connections between patients and program resources.
• Provide educational training on specific disease states and medications as prescribed.
• Educate to foster dialogue between patients and health care providers.
• Support treatment decisions between patient and provider.
• Provide product-related training per program guidelines.
• Help patients build routines and manage side effects.
• Deliver virtual education and support via phone, video, email, and SMS.
• Reinforce adherence and motivation for long-term therapy.
