Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Ballad Health-Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN. Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, rotating weekends/holidays. Prior food service experience required; salary fixed at $14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and move/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist on assigned units with patient meal trays on time and accurately.
• Help patients with menu selections and work with nursing to meet dietary needs.
• Prepare, assemble, deliver and retrieve trays; ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Follow HACCP, HIPAA, and sanitation guidelines and report issues promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare.
