Job summary

Brookside Optometric Group in Stockton, CA seeks a full-time Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care and improve patients’ vision. You will perform eye examinations, recommend eyewear, and determine contact lens prescriptions in a modern practice.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. The role features 30–40 hours per week across Monday–Saturday with access to advanced diagnostic tech and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• OD degree with licensure to practice optometry.
• 1–3 years clinical practice; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management, leadership and organizational skills.
• Business aptitude, self-discipline and patient service focus.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose conditions.
• Recommend eyewear and determine contact lens prescriptions.
• Work 30–40 hours weekly; open Mon–Sat with modern tech support.
• Utilize Optomap, OCT, FDT, Pentacam and other devices during exams.
