Job summary

Axis Eye Optometric Group in Elk Grove, California, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to deliver comprehensive eye care in a patient-centered boutique setting. You will perform exams, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe and dispense lenses, and educate patients using advanced diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging.

The role typically includes about eight hours of patient care per day and a patient volume of roughly 16–18 patients daily, with a supportive team and on-site

Qualifications

• OD degree with California licensure (TPA certificate preferred).
• 1–3 years clinical practice; new grads welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
• Business acumen and commitment to patient service.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and manage ocular health with advanced diagnostics.
• Treat eye emergencies and prescribe/dispense lenses.
• Educate patients on healthy vision and preserve eye health.
