Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state RN license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Five (5) years nursing experience.
• BSN or ASN or Diploma, currently enrolled in a BSN program and BSN completed within 5 years of hire.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Must demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication during patient transfers and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Care delivery using the nursing process and supervision of patient transfers.
• Review patient information with the physician over the telephone to determine admission service and level of care.
• Engage in collaborative practice with the health care team to support patient care goals.
• Mentor and develop staff to promote professional growth and adherence to standards of care.
