WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Nurse Manager/Bed Management leader responsible for 24/7 bed flow and staffing coordination. You will monitor bed status, coordinate patient placement, and lead staff to maintain efficient hospital operations.

The role requires an active WV RN license, BLS, and at least five years of nursing experience, with priority for hospital-setting leadership and bed management expertise.

Qualifications

• Active West Virginia RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Five years nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor bed status and coordinate patient placement across units.
• Coordinate transfers from outside facilities and ED to ensure timely admissions.
• Provide leadership in staffing planning and resource allocation with the House Supervisor.
• Communicate bed availability and unit activity to ED, Med-Com, and MARS to expedite patient transfer.
• Collaborate with department leadership to resolve staffing and patient-care issues.
