Job summary

Valle del Sol in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level intake/administrative specialist to support our integrated primary care and behavioral health teams. You will answer inbound calls, assist with appointment scheduling, process medication prior authorizations, and help with outbound referrals and inquiries about services.

The role includes general clerical duties and managing incoming e-faxes and scanning documents into the electronic health record.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively.
Provide culturally sensitive services.
Must have or obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Maintain current BLS certification.
COVID-19 vaccination or qualified exemption.
TB screening/PPD or QuantiFERON as applicable.
Vaccinations: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls and assist customers requesting appointments, prior authorizations, referrals, or service information.
Handle general clerical tasks and incoming e-faxes from external customers via phone, email, or fax.
Scan documents into patients’ electronic health records.
