Qualifications

• Reliable and timely transportation; mileage reimbursed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process referral requests from healthcare providers.
• Coordinate with specialists, hospitals, and other providers to schedule patient appointments.
• Verify referral information for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, providers, and insurers regarding referral status.
• Provide patients with information on referral processes, appointment details, and pre-appointment preparations.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EHR system; manage referral documentation and authorizations.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for referred services; liaise with insurers as needed.
