Job summary

Alter Behavioral Health is seeking a Care Coordinator Lead to supervise a team of nine to ten Care Coordinators in a 24/7 residential program in Orange County. The role ensures client safety, engagement, and participation in treatment while aligning staff with policies and procedures.

The position requires leadership, a strong behavioral health background, and the ability to coordinate crisis interventions and emergencies across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting (operations/lead experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of KIPU EMR system, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-shift leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of Care Coordinators.
• Oversee shift staffing coverage and scheduling, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Lead client orientation and coordinate with clinical teams to address escalated concerns.
• Model and enforce emergency procedures, safety drills, and incident reporting.
• Support new hire training and ongoing staff development.
