Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist New Yorkers with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The role involves hands-on care, daily living support, and advocacy to promote independence.

You will help with daily activities, community engagement, and building skills while coordinating with healthcare providers and therapists. A high school diploma, fluent English, and a NY driver’s license are required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English for client communication.
• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience (required for driving positions).
• Comfort operating a large vehicle (for driving positions).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for the individuals you support.
• Assist with daily living activities and help build community connections.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Advocate for needs, rights, and access to services; maintain accurate daily notes.
