Job summary

The Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) in California is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to liaison between the transport team, center staff and participants. You will monitor routes, resolve real-time issues, attend interdisciplinary team meetings, and ensure smooth, on-time transportation services.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in transportation, strong customer service, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in transportation or related field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Opening Dispatcher and adjust routes as needed.
• Attend IDT and Care Plan Meetings as Transportation Representative.
• Act as liaison between transportation dept, center staff and participants onsite.
• Assist with scheduling routes, review upcoming trips, and cancel unneeded trips.
• Maintain transportation software and generate reports for quality oversight.
