Gateway Services is seeking a hands-on Care Center Manager to lead daily operations, people and performance at our pet aftercare facility. You will coach frontline teams, manage safety, service levels and costs while ensuring compassionate care for pets and support for veterinary customers.

The role emphasizes ownership, data-driven decision making and collaboration with regional leadership, sales and HR to deliver high-quality care and reliable service.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of supervisory or operations leadership experience.
• Experience in a service, production, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environment is valued.
• Strong communication, organization, judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Pet aftercare experience is not required - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the Care Center.
• Lead, coach and develop Team Members with accountability, safety and service.
• Use KPIs and operating data to manage productivity, quality, customer service and on-time fulfillment.
• Plan labor against daily and weekly demand and ensure the team has tools, supplies and resources.
• Manage costs, review P&L performance and contribute to annual budgeting and operating plans.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, clean and tour-ready Care Center.
• Resolve operational issues and customer concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations leadership to strengthen veterinary customer relationships.
