DuPage County's Kenneth Moy Care Center is seeking a Housekeeper II to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and assist residents with daily activities in a licensed care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of the Housekeeper II in-service program within the first 90 days of hire.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Illinois Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Strips and waxes floors using a self-propelled machine.
• Shampoos carpet with automated carpet shampooer.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, collects trash and recycles, and operates trash compactor.
• Interacts with residents and assists with moving them and serving meals.
• Makes beds, changes linens, cleans under beds, maintains linen/utility areas.
• Fills and distributes oxygen canisters to nursing units.
• Performs resident transportation using a van with a lift gate.
• Performs exterior snow removal using shovel and de-icing salt.
• Moves boxes and chairs for room setup and breakdown.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Housekeeper II in-service program within 90 days

Valid Illinois Driver's License
