Swann Special Care Center in Champaign, IL is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to support Environmental Services and Laundry. The role includes maintaining a clean, safe facility and assisting with daily tasks to ensure a sanitary environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand facility policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary facility by following a comprehensive cleaning program.
• Clean furnishings, fixtures, floors, walls, windows, and bathrooms regularly.
• Restock bathroom supplies and ensure safe, tidy common areas.
• Handle spills and emergencies promptly and safely.
• Prepare rooms for new residents and conduct terminal cleaning as directed.
• Report safety issues and equipment needs to supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies and document cleaning services.
• Assist with development/update of environmental services procedures.
• Participate in survey processes as directed.
• Commit to continuing education and in-service programs.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
