Job summary

Park View, a Cassia community in Buffalo, MN, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, help ensure a clean and safe environment, and collaborate with nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

We offer a $2,000 bonus for full-time CNAs, with night shifts 10:30 PM–7:00 AM and a wage range of $22.60–$24.31 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour night shift differential.

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care and daily living activities to promote independence.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document services on the charting system.
• Assist with prescribed program activities.
• Observe residents and report changes to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Available Shifts (includes working every other weekend):

Night: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Wage Range: $22.60 - $24.31 / hour depending on experience

Shift Differential: $2.00 / per hour for night shift

Bonus: $2,000 for Full-Time

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:

• Current MN Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff
