Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking an overnight Care Associate/PSS at Sentry Hill at York Harbor in York, ME. You will support residents in the Assisted Living program with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and quality of life during the overnight shift.

The role requires at least 1 year of senior care experience, strong English communication, and a possible CNA/CHHA license based on state requirements. A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services.
• Follow resident schedules set by supervisor and document daily logs.
• Provide emotional and social support and respect resident independence.
• Inform supervisor of any issues or concerns.

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• We are looking for someone full-time to work the overnight shift (10:30PM - 7:00AM). Working every other weekend is required.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
