Job summary

McCarthy & Stone in Taunton is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents at Kingfisher Court, a Retirement Living Plus development. You will assist with daily care, housekeeping, and activities to promote wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have care experience and a passion for helping older people, with a Level 2 health and social care qualification preferred; UK-based applications only.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience in care or support.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork in a busy environment.
• Preferably QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality of individual care to residents.
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities supporting health and wellbeing.
• Assist with appointments, transport, escorts, and shopping errands.
