Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant to join Tye Green Lodge in Harlow, Essex. The role offers 20-35 hours per week with pay £12.96 per hour on weekdays and £13.96 per hour on weekends, with shifts 7:30am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–9:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

The environment is 61-bed, purpose-built, focused on resident independence and dignity. Full or part-time perm contracts are available, with comprehensive training, DBS clearance, pension after a year, and staff benefits.

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our Care Home Tye Green Lodge in Harlow.Nestled in the heart of Harlow, Tye Green Lodge combines high-quality care with modern, comfortable living. This61 bed purpose-built home features spacious en-suite accommodation, elegant communal areas, and beautifully maintained gardens. Residents benefit from personalised care, engaging activities, and a supportive community designed to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
