Job summary

Avera Marshall Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care, assisting elderly and disabled patients with daily living activities and support services in a hospital or home setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain care documentation, and ensure safety and comfort for patients, while adhering to established plans of care and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required; license in Minnesota upon hire.
• Driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides personal care as directed by the nurse, per the care plan.
• Maintains housekeeping, laundry, meals, and shopping as needed.
• Assists patients with social activities as prescribed by the plan of care.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation.
• Reports changes in patient status to supervisor.
• Ensures care aligns with age-appropriate guidelines.
• Uses equipment and supplies efficiently and adheres to safety policies.
