Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a compassionate Home Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You’ll help with daily living, meals, shopping, and companionship, delivering care with warmth and respect.

No prior care experience is required; we will train you. A driving licence and own car are preferred, and you’ll join a supportive team with flexible contracts and excellent development opportunities.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (Preferred).
