Job summary

Prominence Health, a value-based care organization, seeks a Care Advocate Supervisor to lead a team of Care Advocates, delivering first-level support and resolving escalated member issues. This role supports health plan members, employers, brokers, and providers, with on-premises and remote collaboration as the organization expands across states.

The ideal candidate has healthcare management experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to coach a team while maintaining service

Qualifications

• At least two years of healthcare management experience including increasing levels of responsibility.
• At least two years’ experience working with health plans insurance products or employer healthcare benefits programs.
• At least two years of experience in customer service with proven ability to de-escalate situations and provide resolution to customer issues.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as they pertain to the health insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level response and resolution for escalated member issues.
• Support benefits and services delivery to Health Plan members and employers.
• Lead Care Advocates, set priorities, coach, and conduct annual reviews.
• Ensure team meets performance standards and quality expectations.
