Job summary

Prominence Health is seeking a Care Advocate Supervisor to lead a team delivering benefits and services to Health Plan members and employer groups.

The role requires navigating a shifting software stack, coordinating on-premises and remote staff, and coaching a team to improve service quality in a growing Texas footprint.

Ideal candidates have healthcare management experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with health plans and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare management experience with increasing responsibilities preferred.
• Two years’ experience with health plans or employer healthcare benefits programs preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience with ability to de-escalate issues and provide resolution.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to health insurance.
• Previous call center management experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for service quality improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus public speaking and training abilities.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and related software systems.
• Strong process-improvement skills to drive results.
• Ability to organize people and activities for efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

• The Care Advocate Supervisor provides first-level response and resolves escalated issues to ensure high-level customer service.
• Dedicated to delivering benefits and services to Health Plan members, potential new members, employers, brokers, carriers, providers and staff.
• As we expand in Texas, the supervisor helps navigate shifting software stacks and complex subject matter with on-premises and remote teams.
• Supervisors manage a group of Care Advocates, set priorities, coach, give feedback and conduct annual performance reviews.
