Job summary

Winding Waters Clinic in Enterprise, OR is seeking a Care Access Specialist who greets patients, updates registrations, and captures accurate insurance data in EPIC. Your role supports a smooth check-in and ensures access to high-quality care for families in Wallowa County.

You will also coordinate appointments, manage urgent care walk-ins, assist with insurance eligibility and sliding scale updates, and handle MyChart messages to prep for morning huddles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Wage: $18.00-$22.00 DOE

• Setting the Stage: Greet patients with professional warmth, update vital registration info, and ensure insurance details are perfectly captured in our EPIC system.
• Navigating the Schedule: Masterfully manage appointments and handle the "Urgent Care" workflow for walk-in patients to keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Bridging the Gap: Help patients navigate the financial side of healthcare, from verifying insurance eligibility to assisting with self-pay forms and sliding scale (FPL) updates.
• Closing the Loop: Manage "In-Basket" communications, handle MyChart messages, and ensure providers have everything they need for morning huddles.
• Advocating for Access: Print daily hospital/ER reports to arrange essential follow-up care, ensuring no patient is left behind after a crisis.
