Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic, assisting healthcare providers in delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and assisting providers during visits
  • Perform point of care tests and administer medications and immunizations as directed by a provider
  • Assist with procedures, wound care, and specimen collection
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system (EHR)
  • Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and preventative care
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and comply with infection control protocols
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EPIC experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities.
